The Independence day celebrations 2018 are scheduled to be held on Saturday the 10th of February from 6pm onwards at the Hillcrest Chapel at the corner of Masters Avenue and Morris Road Hamilton. 

In the proposed agenda, among other things, it is our intention to include the following:

1. National anthem  – to be sung by a choir of children

2. Cultural dance item –  by children aged between 9-14ys

3. 2 speeches / presentations on the history of Sri Lanka

4. 2 speeches / presentations on the beauty of Sri Lanka

Any members and/or children who would like to engage in these items are kindly requested to respond by replying this email  asap and no later than Friday 27th January indicating the item/s you would be willing to engage in. Please note items 3 and 4 will be allocated to the earliest respondents as slots are limited.
