It’s always hard coming to a new country, but the SLFS aims to make the settling in process as easy as possible for newcomers. The society is a great source of information, consisting, as it does, of people who have all been through the same thing.
This website aims to facilitate this process by providing a central hub of information with:

- Important website links and documents
- Links to community support from Sri Lankan professionals who work in the Waikato region.
The society itself is an excellent resource, and if necessary, there are many families who may be willing to provide accommodation to newly arrived migrants once introduced.
